Vibrant Alcohol Ink Floral Trims A2 Card Tutorial

Thank you for joining me for this Vibrant Alcohol Ink Floral Trims A2 Card Tutorial. Let's jump right in.

I started by trimming down my black matte to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my A2 base and a piece of Yupo paper to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my black matte. Then I brought in 6 colours of Alcohol ink in Raspberry, Splendour, Sunshine Yellow, Elixir, Tranquil and Amethyst with some Blending Solution and the air blower to create my rainbow background. I worked between the colours and the blending solution until I was happy with the outcome.

I let the alcohol ink panel dry fully before placing it in my Misti and stamping one of the Floral Trims stamps on top with Stazon Jet black ink three times to get a bold stamping. For some added interest and to make the flowers stand out even more I white heat embossed and fussy cut out just the floral images from the same stamp set and adhered them on top of the yupo panel with Thin 3D foam squares for some added dimension. For some extra bling I also used some silver glitter and added it to the centre of the flowers, Then all that was left was to adhere all the layers and call this beautiful card finished.
