Vibrant Distress Spray Floral Teacup A2 Mother's Day Card Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Floral Teacup A2 Mother's Day Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by cutting out the lacy layers that would become the base panels of my card, then trimmed down pieces of watercolour cardstock so I could spray several different colour combinations on them for the die-cut flower. For each colour, I used 3 sprays all from the distress lineup. Pinks were Kitsch Flamingo Oxide, Spun Sugar Stain and Cocktail Party Mica, Purples were Villanious Potion Oxide, Wilted Violet Stain and Fortune Teller mica, Yellows were mustard seed oxide, squeezed lemonade oxide and harvest moon mica, Greens were Cracked Pistachio oxide, Rustic wilderness stain and Wicked Elixir Mica and the Blues were Mermaid Lagoon Oxide, Tumbled Glass Stain and Shiny Bauble Mica, All the sprays are in the supplies list if you want to check them out.

Once the watercolour panels were dry I used my Sidekick to cut out a bunch of dies from the Brushstroke Flower Mini set by Tim Holtz. I also cut out three cups from the Papercut Cafe set also by Tim Holtz to create where I wanted my beautiful flowers to sit. Next, I had to adhere all the layers ... its a bit tedious BUT totally worth it.. at least I think so. Finally, I stamped my sentiment, added pearls for extra shimmer and shine, and called this card done.
