Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Holographic Watercolour One Of A Kind Butterfly A2 Card, Let's jump right in.
To start I created my base, matte and panel, my base is the standard A2 size, for my matte I cut off about 1/8th of an inch to be smaller than my base and my panel was cut to be about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my matte, giving me a nice thing border all around the panel. I stamped out and heat embossed the large butter fly from the Butterfly Effect stamp set and melted the embossing powder until it was smooth. Then I brought in 3 colours of watercolour from my Mijello Mission gold palette in Peacock Blue, Bright Clear Violet and Quinacridome Crimson Lake and used a mix of clean clear water and the pigment until I was happy with how the colours looked. I then brought in my C3 and C5 copic markers to add some dimention to the wings.
Once the panel was fully dry I splashed on some perfect pearls and stamped out my sentiment. I then heat embossed the same butterfly on some Vellum with a Holographic embossing powder and fussy cut it out to go on top of the butterfly stamped on the panel. I adhered all my layers together and set my Misti on top to weight them down so they would adhere flat. I adhered the vellum butterfly only to the centre of the bottom butterfly to allow the wings to move and brought in several pearls to shape the body and called this card done.
