Vibrant Hot Air Balloon Tag Tutorial | Stamperia Create Happiness Collection


Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Hot Air Balloon Tag Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I am sorry this post is a day late... I am on vacation in Mexico and completely forgot about the blog post!! I set the video to go up before I left but forgot all about the blog... so here we go!! I used a #8 manila tag from Ranger to create this project, I thought it would be a fun sub-straight to work on. I blended on some Seedless Preserves Oxide ink for a fun background colour and added some stencilling on top in Villanious Potion Oxide ink for added texture. I also brought in Dusty Concord Archival ink for some stamping on top of the other layers for a bit more purple in the background.


I pulled elements out of the create happiness ephemera pack and build a little cluster of flowers and a hot air balloon for the focal image. I added some perfect pearls and seedless preserves splatter across the tag for more interest. To help all the elements meld together better I brought in some white rub-ons from the same collection and added them across all the elements. For a final bit of interest on the tag, I added a purple eyelet in the hole at the top and used some shimmery ribbon through it. I couldn't resist adding a heart embellishment that I used some wilted violet and salvaged patina embossing glaze on top. Then I called the tag done! I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
