Vibrant Ink Blended Night Sky 5x7 Card Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Ink Blended Night Sky 5x7 Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I started this card by creating the base and layers, I cut a piece of cardstock to 10 by 7 inches and scored at the 5-inch mark, giving me a 5 by 7 card. For the black matte and HammerMill panels, I trimmed them both down to be about 1/4 of an inch smaller than the layer below.


Next, I blended three Distress Oxide ink colours in Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserves until I was happy with how the colours looked together. I splashed on some perfect pearls to add more stars in the background. I then cut out the moon from lemon chiffon and white glitter cardstock and layered them together, I also cut out stars from the same cardstock as the moon. Next, I cut out two layers for the trees in the same black cardstock as the matte and one layer out of slate cardstock.


All that's left is to adhere all my layers and add the stars around the sky, I chose to add a sentiment label sticker to the bottom right corner and called this card done. I am pretty happy with how it came out and cannot wait to hear what you think of it!!
