Vibrant Mixed Media Distress Spray A2 Card


Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Mixed Media Distress Spray A2 Card , Let's jump right in.


To create the background I used a piece of Distress watercolour paper and placed it in my splat box, working between Picked Raspberry, Salvage Patina, Flickering Candle, and water I sprayed the cardstock and heat set it until I was happy. I then clear heat embossed through the Tea Party stencil as well as used some grit paste through the same stencil to create a lot of different texture in the background. To help the texture stand out I dripped some White paint down the panel and added some white paint dry brushing across the background.


Once the panel was fully dry I trimmed it down a 1/4 of an inch on each side and adhered it to a piece of Mint cardstock, I used the Believe in Unicorns stamp set for the sentiment and white heat embossed that on top of another piece if Mint Cardstock and trimmed it down. I cut out some leaves out of vellum and added them to the sentiment to add interest to some of the open space. I added the sentiment to the panel with some foam tape and added a few white pearls around the sentiment and called this card done.
