Vibrant Purple and Blue Snowflake A2 Cards Tutorial
Thank you so much for joining me for this vibrant Purple and Blue Snowflake A2 Cards Tutorial, Let's jump right in.
I created two bases one out of Royal Purple cardstock and the other out of Audrey Blue cardstock both from Simon Says Stamp. I wanted to add a bit of drama to the card bases so I used Villanious Potion and Black Soot Distress ink on the Purple base around the edges and Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Ink on the Blue Base. Next, I die-cut out the large snowflake from the SpellBinders Card Creator set out of some White glitter cardstock and adhered them onto the base, trimming whatever was left hanging off the card.
For the sentiment, I cut it out of the matching cardstock of the base and two layers out of white cardstock to add under the sentiment to add dimension to both cards. I also blended the matching inks from the bases on the sentiments and white heat embossed a sub-sentiment. Once the sentiments were adhered to the card bases I added a couple of crystals around the sentiments to help enhance them. I am pretty excited with how these cards turned out and I would love to hear your thoughts!!
