Vibrant Rainbow Artsy Leaves A2 Card Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this vibrant Purple and Blue Snowflake A2 Cards Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


For this card, I used an A2 base, a black matte that I trimmed down to 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base and a panel cut down to 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base. I also trimmed down some watercolour cardstock to use my sprays on for the leaves. I also ran the panel through a 3D embossing folder to add some texture to the background.


Next, I used several Distress Sprays to create the leaves For the Pink I used Kitch Flamingo and Cocktail Party, For the orange I used Carved pumpkin and Jack-o-Lantern, For Yellow I used Squeezed Lemonade and Harvest Moon, For Green I used Salvaged Patina and Merry Mint, for Blue I used Tumbled Glass and Shiny Bauble and for purple I used Seedless Preserves and Fortune Teller. Once the paper was dry I ran them through my Die-cutting machine with the Artsy Leaves dies and for the stems/detail part, I used the purple sprayed watercolour cardstock to make sure I had all my rainbow colours.


All that's left is to adhere the layers, I used 3D foam squares to add a little dimension to my leaves. For the sentiment, I used a label sticker and added a few Vanilla Luster Sequins for some added shimmer and shine. I Love how this card came together and I cannot wait to hear what you think!!
