Vibrant Rainbow Floral Slimline Card Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this Vibrant Rainbow Floral Slimline Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

To start I created a Slimline base, I trimmed 4 inches off a standard 8.5 x 11-inch piece of cardstock and scored at the 3.5-inch mark giving me a 3.5 by 8.5-inch card base. I then used the Lacy layer slimline and cut out the large scalloped layer and the next smaller stitched layer. I then used the Diagonal Stripes stencil and blended on six colours of Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Broken China and Wilted Violet.

For a fun image to go on top of the blended layer I white heat embossed the Beautiful Flowers image on Vellum and used the matching die to cut it out. I also used a clear adhesive sheet on the back of the vellum to that it would be easy to attach to my blended panel. I also stamped a thank you sentiment in the lower right corner and adhered my vellum floral to the panel. Once everything adhered I brought in some Vanilla Luster Sequins for some added shimmer and shine and called this card done.
