Whimsical Copic Coloured Afternoon Tea Mini Slimline Card

Thank you so much for joining me for this Whimsical Copic Coloured Afternoon Tea Mini Slimline Card, Let's jump right in.


For this card I wanted to make a one layer mini slimline so I cut down my base first, I like my mini slimline cards to be 6 x 6 scored at the 3 inch mark, and I cut a black shimmer matte and a hammermill panel to create some layers, I like my layers to be 1/8th inch smaller than each other. I stamped out my foreground images and masked them so I could stamp out the extra images to create my scene.


With all the images masked I blended on some Picked Raspberry and Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink for a fun and vibrant background, I also splashed on some perfect pearls for some added interest. I used Copic Markers to colour in my images, for the Tea pot and white elements I used C1, C3 and C5, for the cake I used E42, E27, and E23, for the tea cup I used BG23, BG13 and BG 49 and for the icing I used RV13, RV06, RV25. I used a white gel pen to add highlights on my images to give them a bit more life. For the sentiment I heat embossed it with some strawberry champagne embossing powder and cut it own into two label strips with fish tail borders added a few thin 3D foam squares and adhered them onto my panel. I adhered all the layers together then add some Vanilla Luster sequins and called this card done.
