Hello everyone!! Thank you so much for joining me for this Whimsical Fairy Slimline card and Collab with Cassie Trask. Let's jump right in!!
As always I like to cut down my cardstock to know what I am working with. My base once scored is 3.5 by 8.5 inches with my black matte 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base and my panel is 1/8th of an inch smaller than my black matte. Then I blended on four Distress Oxide Colours Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot, blending between them until I had a blend that I really liked.
I used my Cricut to trimmer out the Fairy and added some 3D foam squares to her back to add some dimension. I then white heat embossed a sentiment from Lawn Fawns Fairy Friends and trimmed them down to labels. I didn't like how they blended into the background so I also opted to add a white matte to the sentiments. I then adhered all the layers down to the base and couldn't resist adding some bling!!
I hope you guys enjoyed this slimline card if you would like a more in-depth look at how I made this card please check out the video below. I also have a full supplies list below the video.
