Whimsical Gnome Birthday A2 Card Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this Whimsical Gnome Birthday A2 Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by trimming down my layers, I used an A2 base, a black matte cut to 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base, and a Hammermill panel cut to 1/4 smaller than the base. I used Scattered Straw oxide ink to create a halo effect on the background panel to give the background some texture and interest.

I die-cut the gnome, car and gift boxes out of white cardstock, pattern paper and white glitter cardstock to add some interest. I used Villanious Potion Oxide ink on the car body and Black Soot Oxide on the wheels and steering wheel, then added some fun details in the white glitter cardstock on the car for added interest. For the gnome, I cut his hat out of some pattern paper and used Copic markers to colour the rest. For his nose and hands, I used E21, for his shirt I used BG01 and BG45 and for his beard and the shadows on his hat and the gift boxes I used N1, N3 and N5. I used pattern paper for the gift boxes and gave them a white glitter bow.

All that's left is to adhere all the layers and stamp a sentiment, I chose to make this a Birthday card so I used the coordinating stamp set and added the sentiment under the car. I did bring in a few opal gems to add a bit more bling to the card and then called it done. I LOVE how it turned out and hope you enjoyed it as well!!
