Whimsical Rainbow Unicorn Artist Trading Card

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me for my first video of 2021!!! I wanted to make some cute and Whimsical Artist trading cards to share with you so let's jump in!!

To start I always like to have my cardstock cut down to the size that I need and the only rule to Artist Trading Cards is that it's 2.5 by 3.5 inches, I cut down two pieces of Neenah 80lb cardstock then used my MFT cloud stencil and the 7" make art stay-tion to blend on my rainbow of clouds. I used five Distress Oxide inks in the colours Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet to create my background, I then slashed on some perfect pearls to add some shimmer and shine.

I stamped out two unicorns and six clouds in a Copic safe ink and coloured them with my Copic Markers, I used N0, N1 and N3 for shading on my white unicorn, and I used RV00, V01, Y00, B00, G00 for the mane and clouds. I also used N6 for the hooves and then cut the images out with the coordinating dies. I used a glitter pen to add some shimmer to the unicorn's mane and I added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the clouds because you can never have enough glitter.

All that's left is to adhere the images, I used a mix of glue and foam squares to add some dimension, I also had some of the clouds hang off the Artist Trading Cards to make it feel as if there is more going on outside of the scene.
