5 Cards 1 Kit featuring Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Stamptember Birthday Bash Kit

Hello Everyone and thank you so much for joining me !! This kit was right up my alley, I LOVE rainbows, Bright colours and Birthday cards! I think I came up with some fun cards that I hope you will enjoy. If you want a more in-depth look at how these cards came together please check out the video down below. Let's jump right in!!

For the first card I really wanted to play with those beautiful rainbow holographic card fronts and the embossing folder, so I ran them through my big shot. I trimmed down one of the sentiment strips and cut out the balloon wafer dies and added some vellum behind them so they could stand out more against the background. I adhered everything down and added some Moonshine sequins and called this card done.

For my second card I really wanted to use some patten paper, so I grabbed this cool stripped piece and cut out a section to stamp out my sentiment and some stars. I heat embossed the sentiment and stars in Strawberry Champagne embossing powder and adhered the pattern paper directly to the base. I did bring in those Moonshine Sequins again and added some star dust stickles inside the stars for some extra shimmer and shine, and called this card done!!

The third card HAD to be a full front shaker card, because I LOVE making these!! I took another piece of pattern paper and trimmed it down to be the full front of an A2 sized card, I cut down the stamp packaging to create my shaker pocket and adhered it to the pattern paper and added some Moonshine sequins and rock candy glitter in the pocket. I then stamped, coloured, and fussy cut out the cake image from the stamp set. I trimmed out a sentiment from the sentiment strips and foiled it using my mini Minc machine and adhered the layers to the base and called this card done.

For the fourth card I wanted to make a slimline card, I took multiple images from the stamp set and created my own pattern paper. I used several Copic Markers to colour it in, in the colours R37, R05, YR04, Y17, Y06, YG03, G03, BG13, B04, BV02,V04, and RV14. Once everything was coloured in I used C9 to colour the white background dark and used a white gel pen to create sparkles through out the background. I cut out the happy birthday sentiment once from the holographic cardstock and twice from black cardstock and layered them up to give the sentiment more of a chip board feel. I adhered everything to the card base and brought in some Icy Sparkles for some added shine.

For my Final card I really wanted to ink blend a background, I used some pixie spray on the balloon bunch stencil and brought in three Distress oxide inks in Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion. I used a blending brush and blended between colours until I had a blend I liked. I once again used a sentiment strip and foiled it with my Mini Minc Machine and adhered it on the centre of the card with some thin 3D foam squares. I had to add some Icy Sparkle Crystals to the panel and adhered the black matte and coloured panel to the card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my 5 cards 1 kit post, If you want a more in-depth look at any of the cards or the Copic colouring please check out the video down below. I also have a full supplies list below the video in case you want to know exactly what I used to make these cards.
