Autumn Themed Card | Taylor Made 4 You Harvest Fair Digital Journal Kit


Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by, I have a fun card for you today that challenged my abilities a bit, Let's jump in.


As always I like to cut down my cardstock to know what I am working with, my base is an A2 sized side fold card base, my black matte is 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base, and my panel is 1/8th of an inch smaller than my black matte. My panel is one of the BEAUTIFUL pattern papers from the Harvest fair kit. The only element on this card that isn't from the Harvest Fair Digital kit is the sign I pulled in from my stash.


I used Simon Hurley's Scene Maker stencil to add glass to the bottom on my panel with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink, and My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil with Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink to add a bunch of layers of clouds to the background. I fussy cut out a bunch of elements from the kit including the girl grabbing apples from the tree and the two bunches of apples in the corners of the panel.


I also added some random stamps in the background with Bundled Sage as well as some splashes of both the oxide colours just to add some extra texture within the panel.


I added foam squares behind the girl and the tree to add some depth and used tape runner to the apple bunches and when I attached the panel down to the black matte. Added my sentiment sticker to a piece of the same black cardstock and adhered it down to my panel, I had to add a string to my sentiment to make it look like it was hanging in the scene. I also added a few Moonshine sequins around the sentiment to add a little bling.
