Hello Everyone and thank you for joining me for this Copic coloured Butterfly Artist Trading Card, I made this for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog, and I hope you will go check it out!!
To start I always have my ATC's bases cut down to 2.5 by 3.5 inches, that's the only rule to making ATC's. The butterfly is a Digital image from Pattie's Creations that I printed out and cut down to fit on to my ATC.
I used A couple of Copics to colour in the butterfly my Teal colours were BG13 and BG15, my purples were V15 and V06 and I brought in 100 which is black to make it pop on the mostly white background. I did add some Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the teal area's of the butterflies wings for some added sparkle. I wanted a very subtle background behind my butterfly so I used a cloud stencil from MFT and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to add some texture to the background without drawing the eye away from the butterfly.
I hope you guys enjoyed this simple but pretty Butterfly ATC. If you would like to see a more in-depth creation of this card please check out the video below, there's also a full supplies list below that. If you would like to check out Pattie's Creations here are the links :
