Thank you so much for joining me for this Simple and Vibrant Nuvo Shimmer Powder A2 Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.
I started this card by white heat embossing the Chevron pattern on to a piece of watercolour cardstock, then added three colours of Nuvo shimmer powder on top in Cherry Bomb, Blue Blitz and Solar Flare then added a good amount of water to get the colours to move and use a heat tool to dry the panel.
I then cut out my sentiment the thanks from white cardstock and the shadow layer from some vellum and I white heat embossed the sub sentiment on some black cardstock to go under the thanks. I also trimmed down a black matte to go under my coloured panel. I took a half inch off two sides of the shimmer panel and a quarter inch off the black matte, giving a decent border around the layers. I used liquid glue to adhered all the layers together and set my misti on top to make sure the layers stayed flat.
I added my sentiment to the bottom third of my shimmer panel and used thin foam squares under the sub sentiment to give it some dimension, Then for a final touch I added some Stargazer crystals across the panel to a little more shimmer and shine and called this card done.
