Viewers Choice 3 Creations 1 kit | Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - November

I started out by creating the mini slimline card, I cut my base to 6 x 6 inches and scored at the 3-inch mark. I then cut down a panel to be about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base and white heat embossed the image and sentiment. I pulled out my Prismacolor pencils and coloured in the images starting with a base of the white pencil to brighten up the colours on top of the dark cardstock. I adhered my panel to the base, splashed on some perfect pearls and added some Cafe au Lait pearls for extra shimmer and shine and called this card done.

Next, I worked on a tag, I used the Adhesive leaves and covered them in Rainbow Shatter Foil and then decided I wanted them to have a darker background so I used a black Copic marker and coloured in the background. I wanted to add some white details so I used a Gelly roll pen and added dots and stars in the background and went over the sentiment to make it stand out more against the background. For a final touch, I added an Eyelet and some pretty Ribbon and called the tag finished.

My third and final project for this kit was an A2-sized card, for added interest in the background used the Lacy layers dies and stamped my image from the stamp set on the topmost layer. I used the coordinating stencils to colour in the image with several Distress inks in Salvaged Patina, Seedless Preserves, Rust Hinge, Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough, Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber. I found finger daubers to be the easiest way to colour in the small areas of the stencil. For some final touches and added shimmer and shine I brought in my clean glitter pen and filled in the frame and added some White pearls to finish the card off.
